Our Process

1. We chisel plow the ground. This does several things:

a. It fractures the ground. This means that it loosens the ground so water will not stand on the surface. At the same time, it allows moisture to come up from the ground when surface moisture (rain) is not available, as in late in the summer months. This enables the grass to stay greener and healthier.

b. It allows the roots to penetrate the ground and develop a healthier root plant structure, which in turn makes your seed stay, making it harder for weeds to come in.

c. While this process is occurring, it also brings up rock and debris that is underneath the surface, thus making for cleaner soil. In the future, rocks and debris don't migrate to the surface, therefore keeping a smooth and even surface area for a longer period of time.

2. After we have chisel plowed the ground in opposite directions, we then begin to rake the ground into windrows.

3. At this point, we start to do the screening process with the rock and debris picker. Our machine will screen down to 1" in diameter and take up to 18" in diameter.

4. After the first screening, we will start the process over again to insure your ground is clean and ready for seeding. At that time we can disc and spike drag your ground for leveling and fertilizer /seeding.

Other Services

Our business offers a complete job site preparation in which we will check the pH of your soil and apply lime and fertilizer. We can also do seeding.

We offer mowing processes such as estate, Home Owner's Association developments, park areas, roadways, driveways, run-off ponds, etc. We have different types of mowers for different applications including standard rotary mowers, 4' and 6' models, reel type mowers and sickle bar type mowers. In the fall time frame, we lease boom mowers for mowing roads and steep embankments that will reach approximately 16' from the tractor. These boom mowers are the same used by the county and state departments.

In doing this type of business, we feel we should also offer garden preparation, either conventional plowing or rototilling with either small or large machines.

With either type of cultivating, we feel that you should have us sub-soil the ground for your garden. This type of process opens the ground to a depth of 18" -24" which relieves hard pan and allows the ground to breathe. This process is most important for growing any type of vegetable or fruit that grows in the ground, such as potatoes, carrots or beats.
